After two separate poor experiences with driving instructors, I questioned whether driving, or the atmosphere in which it was taught in, was really for me— so much so that it took me almost a decade to pluck up the courage to try again. I am so glad that I did- my only regret is that I didn’t have Paul as an instructor to begin with. It was a wonderful surprise to be in such a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, Paul managed to strike the balance between lessons being light-hearted, whilst giving me the skills and confidence I needed to to become a competent and safe driver.

After 5 weeks of lessons, I took my test and managed to pass first time which, without exaggeration, I seriously doubt would have been the case without Paul’s teaching style and knowhow.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Paul enough as a driving instructor. Driving didn’t come naturally to me by any stretch and I suffered with panic attacks at the start of my driving lessons, even pulling over and jumping out the car and making Paul drive me home on one occasion! He is so patient when you make mistakes and takes the time to explain how to correct any problems you have. He could make more money as a therapist as he always managed to calm me down and put me at ease when I was driving!

Just an all round sound guy who can turn anything in to a joke when you’re feeling under pressure! Would definitely recommend to anyone taking up lessons who want to pass their test quickly!

The best driving instructor in Liverpool!!! After trying to pass my test for 4 years with 50hrs+ of driving lessons and failing 5 times I was recommended to try paul. Paul helps with the Theory Test, giving you access to his app which had all the questions and answers and mock tests, I passed the Theory within a few weeks and he encouraged me to apply for my practical even though I thought I had no chance but with his expertise, friendly manner and encouragement I passed first time after 10 lessons with just 3 minors.
